i thought it was a great game. However when you get to a certain point they don't fire as regular and soon they just don't fire it's very annoying. A good stategy I found is to always leave an open road for them to pass through it means they won't attack you and they won't get to far either if you make a narrow path with your men on either side. The best time I think is Britain, Very powerful infantry which is all you need as the cannons are too expensive and fire too slowly for any real use.
