seems like a decent game. haven't played too much of it. sometimes it loads and sometimes it doesn't. and i could literally be clicking and the "playing in the background" msg will pop up. it's annoying... i'll check back later to see if this gets resolved
Hey DVSalt. Thank you for the feedback, glad you like the game. To clarify, when the "playing in the background" message comes in, the frame is out of focus. The game enters out of focus whenever you are outside of the game screen (another place on the page or another page). During out of focus, it does not run animations, sounds and businesses are not actively producing (they are idle, this is why when back in focus you get the Welcome Back screen). This helps significantly reduce the amount of computation vs. in-focus state and thus reduces unnecessary stress on the processor. Allows players to keep the game in a tab without interfering too much with any other activities they would want to do on their PC. Save option! Thought since you changed the achievements a bit (especially the combos) that higher combos would be needed after 777. Went to 1235 before I stopped. I think that for at least some achievements (like combos) there should be some sort of bonus/perk. It took a bit to find out achievement 15. Got it though. I would suggest making advancement in stones optional. If you aren't lucky and don't get a good pick axe, then trying to farm for one takes quite a while. A good idea for later updates would be to categorize the types of stones and ores they produce and use specific ores for certain upgrades in an expanded upgrade tree. Once you get to the last upgrade it gets kinda slow since 3/4 of the previous upgrades have no noticeable effect. I like the idea of refining, but think that when changing the type of specialization (when others are available) you'd have to do a hard reset is a bit much. Save option is priority #1 though...
use chrome to play... FF doesn't work... get a 777 hit combo for all 8 achievements... but, i'd wait until the game is updated before investing too much time into it... i'd say it's pretty decent, but would like a lil more info on the specialization, refined ores and how all that works...
"I don't think that every idle must be similar to each other." Sure... i can agree with that... but, idle games tend to go on forever... they don't stop at lvl 50 and say "thanks for playing".... i mean... this "idle" game took me just a few hours to beat... i didn't even have to max my upgrades... interesting idea... was fun while it lasted... 2/5
