Um, no ... not sure why you would have been able to suddenly get to a higher level. The latest patch does make heroes slightly more expensive to level so if anything it should be harder to reach the same level (this is offset by all the new spells)
Was there a temporary buff and then subsequent nerf to the strength of the enemies? I was suddenly able to easily get to level 1100 when before I would start slowing down around 800. I reloaded the game, and now it's back to seemingly normal.
