Thesoullessdrunk: Because wearing gold gives you a secret swag- and yolobonus. (and because many people for some reason think gold is stronger than iron, I blame minecraft but the origin may be earlier).
Took forever to go from ~10 to 13.10. But from there on it goes super fast when you get the new pewpewgun on all your ships. Maybe something to fill in the gap between last mk2 and first mk3? Or is it supposed to be a long haul right there?
Nice patch!
How about a way to modify the auto upgrade function? Say I don't want it to upgrade my weapons or certain upgrades on my weapons (if i want extra damage but not faster attack speed etc). Or if I want it to ignore ships completely and only do global upgrades (or the other way around). I wonder if it's implementable, it sure as hell is going to require a lot of clickable boxes! (or maybe not, you can probably simplify it nicely)
This dev is crazy good, I hope he stays as awesome as he is now! The new gui looks neat, although the ship interfaces takes some getting used to. But once that's over it'll def. be better
Technically you should still be able to buy stocks even though the price has fallen. But I suppose that would make the math kind of weird. And make it a lot more profitable. Which is nice.
The bug that needs to be fixed the most is probably the one that causes offline progress to disappear. It's happened quite a bit recently for quite a lot of people.
Willraven13: If I'm not mistaken it's an oooold reference from the depths of the internet. Whenever Blizzard was asked when their next patch for WoW was coming out, they'd oftenmost reply with "soon", and people added "TM" to it for fun because it was all they ever got. I'm not sure if this is correct though or if the TM has a whole different origin and was just put on Blizzards 'soon's' at some point as a reference to that.
A way to export your save game (or save online, linked to kong account for example) would be nice. I'd like to be able to play on my stationary when im on that, and leave it idling on my tablet when not using my stationary.
@Stylish777 yup, you're right. Definately getting a lot more $ when using more clicks/sec rather than less. I'm sure there is a cap at some point though, but where it is, i dont know.
Your map is inaccurate as f* mate, where did Denmark go? Also graphics are making my eyes bleed (and not in the charming way which pixel-games do. It's in the bad way). Sure, it's a better game than I could ever make, but that doesn't make it a good game. 0/5
Good game!!
Perhaps add a story line with some cutscenes (few drawings) every 10th level. This could've been a tale of how the blue first defended their homeland, then invaded and took over the enemy land. Gameplay was catchy, but with a story line, then I would probably have stayed up a bit longer last night to play the last ~20 levels and get the story.
Few things that needs fixing though:
A cure for your own infected buildings.
Everyhing else I have to say has already been said by RaymondK2
Good job, looking forward to the followup!
Hull = HP
Sail = AP
Crew = makes it harder to board/be boarded
Cargo = how much you can carry
Damage = how much damage you deal when you attack
Please up this so people can see what the different stats do.
savedfile679: It appears to me the crew makes the ship harder to board. Makes sense I guess, when you think about it :) (did take me 200 days to figure out though :D)
"the weakest fleet attacks first" My ships (2x lvl 2 and 1x lvl 3 ships, about 100 hp max) vs 3 ships with 200-300hp. Who attacked first? Sure wasn't me. Ouch. You might want to rework that coding I guess :)
that was awesome! Had to use the walkthrough though (part 8), wonder if that's just me being stupid :P
But great story and gameplay. I hope a talent like you is going to make a dungeon crawler game sometime, no doubt it'd be good.
