Great game, love the graphics + music.
Two things:
- Release click + ctrl doesn't work on Mac OS X
- Scrolling is too fast / need s to be more intelligent usually it's only swapping between two places of view
Ok this game does kinda suck.. but keep learning more actionscript and have a look at what makes other games successful (e.g. graphics) and im sure you will become good with a bit of work!
Failing that you could call the game Neon Penis With Shooting Fire!!!
btw the lag is made only because you use too many resources. when you run it in a browser and add a bad computer to it it starts lagging up, but it won't if you try and debug it in flash... test in situ
Btw this game doesn't work very well on mac (OSX leopard 10.5), the text '0' does not display properly and it can get ridiculously laggy. On the same computer on windows it works fine.
I gave this 4/5. I think it could be a 5/5 game.. but two things should be changed:
- get rid of the stupid chimes, they are not needed and kinda kill the theme of the game
- enemies spawn into you, wtf is up with that, make a lil time limit before they collide with you cos that is very unfair!
Fix those 2 things and u have an AWESOME game xD

quality changing is annoying and unnecessary, it doesn't matter if your framerate is low.. so what? doesn't effect game play..
so im in the minority. for some reason only about 1 in 10 people dislike this game. i don't understand how people can like this compared to some of the other great quality games on this site!
this game is long, boring and badly scripted. I like the idea and what its trying to do but its not good enough. I know I havent made anything better than this but Im going to try with a better tile collision script and ray tracing.
