You know - I think I actually quite enjoyed this game. I kept polarizing - liked it, hated it, liked it again...felt like quitting a few times over, but the simplicity of it and the satisfying bloop noises as you complete a level kept me going. By the time it was over I felt myself wanting more. It really is much longer than it is hard, but that didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of it. There were just enough changes of concept and goals to keep things interesting, and towards the end you end up with some quite satisfying patterns. Overall a simple, yet enjoyable game. A solid 4/5.
This is a very well put together game, and has alot less gore than alot of other zombie based games out there, which really helps this game along. It's a fun little time consumer and a great little platformer. What really shows is how much effort and dedication you put into it and the end product is something you should be proud of.
It would be nice if once you had found the daughter to be able to continue exploring and completing each zone 100%. There really isn't anything else to moan about, lol.
Thanks for giving me a good couple of hours game time. =) 5/5
It's a very fun, very fast paced, very acheivement centred game which is greatly enjoyable. Finally got the hard badge with pure luck and nothing fully upgraded. 4/5
A very enjoyable game all round. It's one of the only games that I have played till completion without the incentive of badges. It looks good, is easy to play and the difficulty ramps up at a nice slope. I'd love to see a sequel some day. 5/5
I kinda lost a little interest with this game. It got a little too tedious to me after I got the medium badge. It' a well put together, good looking game, and I think I will come back periodically to try and get one or both of those endurance badges!
This game was my nemesis for so long. Every time I won a card, I'd come back to this. Again and again til finally I did it. It seems to me to be a luck-based endurance hard badge.
Found it too frustrating to continue playing. My captain hidden in the woods attacks from behind, dealing 1 damage. Enemy turns round and attacks dealing 55 damage and kills him outright...balanced? I really dont think so!
I found my critter became very glitchy to control in the latter levels. Continuously puking when im not clicking, moving and jumping without the buttons being pressed. This got very annoying where precision is needed, and very nearly made the game unplayable for me. Other than that, it would be a great little game 3/5
Well. It's kinda not bad once you get into it and get to grips with the controls. The main fault I find with it is the sheer tediousness. The same thing over and over and over through 8 loooong chapters. I got interested...then I got bored...quickly...
Using a fully upgraded cart with all three groupies I managed (by sheer luck I think) to score 1,800 points in handstands. I crashed back to the ground ina spectacular wipeout, and it still awarded me the hard badge. Maybe the trick is just to rack up the points without bothering about a safe landing?
A fun game...the only real downside is the horrendous lag when everything is either on low or off. It was fine till I boight the partner upgrade, then the game bjust lagged too much and became increasingly more frustrating with every wave.
This game really isn't that bad. Sure the graphics are little lacklustre and the gameplay rather easy, but shouldn't be such a negativie aspect.
It provides enough of a challenge and it's fun trying to beat your total start rating. :)
4/5
This is a very entertaining game and has alot of potential. he artwork is good, the player turns are sound and the mute button is muchly appreciated. It's also easy to leran and get the hang of, yet still poses a meaty enough challenge.
It reminds me slightly of magic the Gathering but with alot more grit and monsters! Perhaps adding more cards and a customisable deck for any future releases would be an improvement. :)
And as for the luck element...heck, isn't that what card games are all about?
4/5
After initially rating this a 3, I've changed my verdict to a 4.5. It has all the elements of a good game and kept me entertained and reasonably challenged throughout. It has the master elemnt of a mute button and there are 65 points to be gained...all in all a rounded game.
The only snags are the sometimes endless time for the computer to take it's turn and the lag with no option to lower the quality.
Good game, looking forward to the next
It started out as a 5...but then it started to lag with no option of reducing quality. Down to a 4. Then the tanks with cloaking ability turned up.
Those two little points brought thhe overall score down for me and instead of it being a 5, it became a 3.
Apart from that, it's a fun litle game.
It's a good game. Smooth and simple, fun to play and a nice easy to medium challenge for the badges.
The only thing wrong is the pause penalty. I guess it's a nice idea to make sure you keep going and the gameplay flowing...but a real pain when the phone rings, someone IM's you or you need to pee!
4/5 (-1 for pause penalty)
