The update made it impossible to play on older computers. It need too much time to load compared to what it was. It even freeze when try to speak with someone, while there was no lag before the update. Too bad, it was a good game.
I have a positive opinion on this game after I rated it poorly. The huntig process is nearly perfect now, but it save only in the local game sadly.
There could be multiple way to solve this. Split view for the saving, an icon to save in the main screen, or hunting would automatically save.
I simply can't understand most things. Why are there skills, that need us to do monotone things over and over again? We are the "idle", not the game. Plus it have the same problem for training. Everything what should be idle need active work while thigs that should be active are idle. And nothing help us, just a small text when the skill first appear.
@sealseatbagels You find a fisherman in the Rocky Shores, who say: "One to start, no choice of course. One, two, travel true, one, one, don't run, three, three, almost free, two, two, and I'm through. HeHA! HeHAHA!"
Follow the numbers to get out.
I found a bug. You can carve the Route 7 crossroad Totem, even when you have less than 40 woodworking. It need 60 per skill definition (exquisite wood shavings).
I think this game have two major flaws. It doesn't save hunting process when the game isn't in active state, it just forget you wanted to hunt when you load the game.
Second, smithing something needs 5 click at timed intervals. I think it would be great if we would either have no time to wait between them, or just use 1 click per action (make bar/tool).
After maxing stealth (I mean 0m is max, I don't need more), I can say that the stealth is really OP. THe problem is the linear change. At 6m, it doesn't mean anything if you make it 5.8m. But, the more you go to 1m, the more OP it get. Under 1m it is absolutely busted. At 0m even the 1000m waypoint enemy is harmless.
Possible solution for this could be a parabolic update. Take away 1/7 of the range, or anything like that. This way it never reach zero, but it will be better at longer range, but still useful at late-game.
Thanks for this, I added a modifier to try and tone stealth down a bit but it works as a multiplier so obviously won't help at 0m. I'll have another look at it, I really appreciate this feedback.
The stealth upgrade is unneeded. Most enemy shoot you from afar. Only the first person will see you later. A rampage upgrade or armor/damage reduction would have been better.
Stealth basically reduces the range of your enemies. It's very useful, I actually had to tone it down a bit during testing because at high enough levels your zombies were so stealthy they would never get shot at. The Android version has a rampage upgrade that can be unlocked, it's possible it might make it to the Kong version too.
How I hate this active games! You must do something else? Why don't we stop the game? If this game is this grindy, at least make it run in the background! Or in an another page! 2/5
