About that last developper's console button. Well, I really thought pressing it again would close it, but if you press any line by mistake (highlighting it), you can't close the console anymore.
nice concept... but runs reeeeeeally slowly over here for such a game. I'd really like to play more, but "exploring" seems to use both my cpu cores a lot. The rest of the gameplay is really smooth, somehow.
Game's nice because it's still kingdom rush, but with a lot of new content. The thing is, all the new voices have low quality, while the old voices still have their charm. The hero's and new barrack's voices really stand out.
Just finished the game. I gotta say it is pretty solid, it got me coming back for it for maybe two weeks. The developper(s) is(are) awesome for talking with the gamers and updating things they judged would be good. I would only recommend changing some bits of the final dialogues, because they flash back to the abyss sometimes. A white screen out solve the problem, in my opinion.
Thanks for the great game, enjoyed all the bits of it!
From reading the comments, I just want to say the developper(s?) is(are?) awesome, because they always respond to the players and try to make the experience the best possible. Keep up the good work!!
The game needs just a bit more tweaking in the gameplay. I could beat all the first levels using spikes+maxed bow. Then I maxed the whole skill tree and finished the game with 4 rows of spikes followed by 4 rows of archers, switching between bow, shotgun and canon(for their cooldowns). 3 stars in the first try of everything, thank god there's this tolerance to castle damage, because I got hit twice on levels 8 and 9.
It's great to see you're an improving game developer. We can notice the changes in the graphics of the game, the mechanics, the fact that the powerups now only have one color. Everything's awesome! Way to go, keep it up :)
Stage selection screen "Decide type and number of your enmey" :) Also, about the hard difficulty... Since there are 3 levels of difficulty, the gap between playing the first 2 stages on easy and then playing the same stages on hard is too high. Plus... in some cases it's almost impossible to win on hard, maybe after some defeats we could be able to reset the upgrades we and the enemy got, to try something else and see if it works better. I don't know how exactly you could improve it without breaking the main idea you have about the game, but what I'm worried is that people might get stuck on a level without options and just give up.
I liked the soundtrack but it needs more ideas and maybe a goal, maybe you could make a sidescroller game to avoid obstacles and you'd control the reticle (or thing) with your mouse. And then you could add your own twist to it. I don't know :P
Lastly, the descriptions and texts could use some polishing, there are a lot of easy typos such as 'enmy' or phrases lacking something (just check the first 2 stage's dialogs). But, well, giving my overall rating I'd say 3/5 as it is. Nice interface, playable and promising :)
Yes, we will be putting a close button on it so you don't need to refresh the game if you pull it up and click in it.
