This game is really fun but VERY poorly designed. Glitches pop up everywhere and very often it doesn't save. For example, right now I'm stuck because Gavalar has decided not to give me any more quests and so I can't cross the river because I don't have the second Heartstone piece. And this game isn't so amazing that I would replay the whole thing just for the badges. Really disappointing when you play for 2 hours and then are stuck because of a glitch. Other glitches I've had which lots of other people have had are that occasionally the game wipes my map clean. Once it started making me travel through the map so fast that it became unplayable until I refreshed(meaning I lost all unsaved progress). Until glitches are worked out 2/5
@Pystrike. I disagree. Mirage Caster seemed more important to me. She's the one unit you keep to the very end because of her healing. A maxed Mirage Caster and one Magilancer let you beat most stuff(including Royal challenge) even if the other two in your party are lvl 1 guys(who will of course be getting xp)
Here are some tips for the hard badge.1)Women are extremely overpowered in this game. A party of 1 Mirage Caster, 2 Magilancers and 1 Sorceress is all but unbeatable. 2) Hunting quests give far more experience but Errand quests give more gold so pick accordingly. 3) There is no need to do 5 star quests, the 4 star wolves quest is the best for xp although I warn you they will swarm you at the start which is a problem for weak parties. 4) As for the actual fame you're just going to have to buy, train and graduate people non-stop. It's a bit of a grind. And don't forget to enter the tournament for 300 fame(winning). + if this helps.
Turn on mouse keys(Google how to do that) and then just keep the + button pressed. Bison goes really high when you get the bubblegum bears. Useful for pogo bears too as it's more precise than your actual mouse.
If you have any MOAB Maulers make sure that their target prioroty is set to "Strong". That way they take down all zeppelins quickly. And Glue Gunner is a really awesome unit if used with an Ice Tower.
If you're going for the Impossible here are some tips...1)Skipping levels is BAD!
2)It gets easier if you don't skip. 3)Cleric is needed and warrior is also need to tank. You probably know this already but play on Hardcore mode for impossible badge.
