it's a really neat concept, limited by the fact that the Unity engine runs like hot steaming garbage which makes parts that require specific timing much harder than intended
Literally all of the top comments criticize the star system, as is true on almost every recent puzzle game with a similar system. The dev's response: "Somebody who isn't in any way represented in this feedback probably likes the system, so I don't care what any of you think."
i think my favorite part of this is that it insists on making me watch myself miss the jump about 6 times in a row. thanks, i knew i made a mistake the first time.
playing as a great sea mage, challenging the great sea leader seemed like it would make for a difficult battle. then it turned into us repeatedly using absorb damage against each other until one of us ran out of mana. not quite the epic conclusion I was hoping for.
I'd like it to be able to request battles with specific players. What if I want to fight against somebody I know? What if my ranking changes too much to rematch somebody? Just a feature I thought would be cool.
I don't know if this an unavoidable issue with the Unity player, but when I play the game it eventually locks up the controls and lags the rest of my pc. I also just had an issue trying to load a save when the heap the game created too many sections in the heap. My laptop is admittedly godawful, but I have never had problems like that with a game before. A shame, I was enjoying this.
