Righto, just a few suggestions.
More precise controls on the ghost or a wider possess range would be rather helpful, often I find myself sliding right past my intended target and then having difficulty lining up to him since the ghost controls like a dump truck.
Could you map the restart button to just R without having to pause? It's rather annoying to also have to click pause when R is far enough away from the rest of the used buttons that accidentally clicking it is rather unlikely.
Thanks for the feedback! The original controls were based around ESDF, which is right next to R, so that's why you need to pause before restarting. I realize that the arrow keys are the default controls now, but you can still use WASD and ESDF if you want, so I'm still concerned about accidentally hitting R in those cases. I'll try to figure something out though, thanks!
Also, this would make for an excellent DS/3DS game, just make about 50 ish in-game levels, add a level maker mode, be able to share said levels online, and keep the lowest cycle/symbol count stuff for the in-game levels. Full touch screen controls and BAM. Profit.
My solution to the elixir of life, nice and symmetrical double

Well, that was fun, I romped through it just as I did the first one.
Also, thanks for reminding me to do something productive, I forgot that I have an essay to work on.
Overall its an excellent addition to the original, with the only real problems I can point out is that the hit-boxes can be a bit unstable and the salt shooters don't always seem to reset to the same initial shooting time after death. Quite a few times I have run underneath salt bullets for no apparent reason or been killed about halfway down entering a small pit to avoid them. Very few levels put you in situations were this may actually cause a real problem so for me this is still a 5/5.
Hehe, I rather enjoyed this game, the music is nice, the artwork looks fantastic, and the game play is surprisingly addictive, although I feel it necessary to ask why there is no boss to represent Gemini. 5/5
Finally obtained the hard badge, those last 4 turns were nerveracking. 4 life left and a huge mob of black ones that droped the 2 golden eggs i needed >.<
