@BOINKY when you finish a run and can choose a new bonus, theres a button in the corner that says "bonuses" and will show you all the end run bonuses you've chosen so far.
@Pikolinapl thats up to you for how long youre willing to wait. you CAN do it whenever, but it will take a LONG time to finish the run. i suggest do a bunch of smaller runs to chip up your numbers. I tend to try and get all the new bonuses before i advance a tier. im not sure if its the most effective way to play; im by no means the farthest along. but get +25 magic runes, 5k mana from magic; and i was up to around 2k income and cost. see how fast you can finish a run and once you can do it fast, advance, and if you cant finish, end the run and go back down.
Pikolinapl, the main categories are "income prestige (+)" that increases the mana made by that color; and "cost prestige (-)" that lowers the cost to upgrade or add a level to that color, making it easier to get to the level 25 or 50 and up break points where they get a big bonus to their mana production.
Later, there are also ones for starting with more mana to let you buy more upgrades right away; start with up to 25 of any given color already purchased; increase a specific colors mana generation by up to 5000% making the lower level colors stay viable as you continue to progress. thats all ive found so far and I'm on run tier 7.
7 With that, I've only cleared run tiers 0, 1, and 2. There may be much more to come or things change as you progress, but this is my starting guide or primer. Hope it helps. No squares are being filled in, not sure if this is a good game. jkjk I'm enjoying it like I do all of Moczan's work. You all should check those out too!
Sorry to break it up, I didn't realize there was a 1000 character limit or how to get each post to 1k without being tedious.
6 As for advice on run tier progression, I've seen more of a boost from getting the magic rune income upgrade, rather than the blanket improvement to income and cost reduction, because it lets me kickstart the cycle of prestige faster. And faster prestige means faster runs. I'm not sure how useful the "start with" bonuses have been. Starting with more mana means I can buy things right away, but the 600 mana wouldn't have taken too long to get; the +3 starting mana runes would likewise give you a bit of a head start, but at their base value, I'm not sure if they were worth the run upgrade points. To that end, my advice (which may change) is magic rune % > cost reduction/income (reduction only slightly better, so, evenly) > starting with magic runes, starting mana (though 1 purchase may be worth it to get you going right out of the gate).
5 That's the basics of what i've seen as useful notes. For further progress, you'll likely need to do a few tier 1 runs to get to the point where you can clear a tier 2 run.
4 Once you're getting a prestige per second, or whatever youre comfortable with, buy the next rune. You're hoping to get the auto buy for that rune. Rinse repeat, while increasing the level of rune you prestige at when any of the runes hits that breaking point, or you notice that you're prestige-ing at something like 50 earth, but you're water rune is at 47 when that happens. If you were to wait for that next one to get to 50, it's likely worth it to wait and get that much bigger bonus.
3 With that in mind, if you want to speed up your prestige speed, always buy the LOWEST rank upgrade available (magic>fire>earth>water>light>etc???) and try to get to where you ONLY need magic unlocked to prestige after getting to 50 magic runes. Do that for a few cycles, then add some fire upgrades until you can prestige after 50 fire runes, and buy and maybe get to 25 earth runes. You're looking for the "auto magic rune" option. (after you're first run ends, you'll be able to auto prestige and this will get MUCH faster too).
2 It looks like the auto buy options only show up after you get an earth rune upgrade, or maybe after you've gotten an upgrade for both the magic and both fire and one earth.
1 As a quick guide for folks, from what I can figure out after a few days of playing.
The 3 options you're show when you prestige seem to only be for the runes you've unlocked, with the exception of if you prestige when you only have magic runes, since there have to be 3 options, one of them will also be fire rune options.
Very promising start. Would like to see an upgrade to the effect of "hovers over X every X seconds" or something as a prestige or world 2 effecting world 1 upgrade kinda thing.
@kavassa i have everything active at once and have 1 left over worker and 1 left over gem. bought a 100 gem and a 30 gem worker pack. did you spend your gems elsewhere?
Good idea, thank you! ❤
