Enemy bullets shouldn't be able to pass through enemies or power-ups - especially, as they become invisible while 'behind' something else. Also, the respawn time is too long - and there should be a longer invulnerability time after respawn.
The game concept isn't new, the gameplay rather repetitive.
Add some possibility to buy and/or upgrade things to motivate anyone to play; unlocking a unit every level isn't terribly thrilling - especially since you fight against the new unit the level before you get it.
Controls are terrible, especially click to move AND click to shoot.
Energy consumption is really high; even without moving (or matching the missile's speed) and only shooting once per two enemies, energy drains rapidly.
Once about to reach orbit, there's the popup-instruction "You must defeat all enemies before entering orbit" - that come right back when closing it, making it impossible to progress.
Definitive room for improvement.
Gameplay - nothing new; Graphics - nice. Length - with 10 waves somewhat short.
An upgrade system to improve various aspects (i.e. TURNING SPEED, firepower, special weapons) instead of having them awarded by score would make the game better.
Turret's turning speed needs a boost - either way.
@WrWr: Equip the Streak Missiles you get for free to a SECONDARY weapon slot (one of the two weapon slots in the bottom row - despite what their text says).
Look up the term "parody", e.g. at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parody, before using it in a game's descriptions.
And you may mentally add this comment to your other 'parodies'.
25 lines ?
Choose all 25, betting the max amount.
Though there'll be some fluctuation, unless you're INCREDIBLE unlucky, you'll win over the course of a couple runs.
I've just doubled the starting money in about 30 turns.
Too easy; just add pieces together, no need to worry about open / unfinished pipes.
Also, cluttering the playing field with pieces is annoying; you have to shift and move them out of the way, first.
Also, some new pipe versions or other goodies / surprises would improve the game.
Overall, a remake of a classic game with too little difficulty and nothing new. Amusing but not paradigm shift in gaming. 3 stars
Potential; remove the double confirmation for each level, add some way to actually DO something instead of just picking up the ball, shoot it once at the key, then shoot it again - and unless one's aiming at a deadlock, the ball will pick up stars and hit the exit.
