I wish the shop wasn't useless. Grey quality items make the majority of the shop's wares, and some of those are literally without use- such as rings or amulets, since grey rings/amulets don't provide any bonus.
Fun game, but enemy armor is way too hard to deal with. A first wave of enemies with 30+ armor and a pile of HP means you just can't kill them fast enough. Add a "pierce" skill or spell.
Glitch: A few enemy soldiers at the bottom of the screen became invincible: arrows passed through them, and my units ignored them, meaning the enemy could comfortably assault my castle with no worries.
Good idea crippled by poor execution. The playing field takes up less than a quarter of the screen, the rest taken up by lag-inducing animation. When playing, the songs often oscillate between "dead boring"- one note at a time, or even the same note for almost a minute straight- then swinging straight to impossible- I can't even tell how many notes are flying out of the center, let alone where they're going. Once in a while, it does hit a sweet spot of challenging, but theoretically possible. Also plagued by repetition- you need to play so many times to unlock everything, and all the songs sound similar due to the method used to generate them. Finally, when correctly inputing a note, it doesn't immediately disappear, but flashes into the center of the target, then vanishes. This can really throw me off, especially when there are notes everywhere.
A good game in theory, but plagued by a swarm of kinks that make it a chore to play. 2/5.
Good game, but there needs to be a dialogue screen asking the player if they REALLY want to discard an item. I accidentally threw away the zombie-proofing amulet, then saved without realizing what I did. Sigh. 4/5
