Seriously, thank you for the ESDF option, as I've been trying to convert to it in every game I play, but I still use R to reload and something like Z as the 'action' button.
Well this sucks. I have to give 3rd place to Xestrix, as my save file was deleted/corrupted. However Johnny DOES cheat, and Lightkor is a maybe. Check the date they signed up against their number of events.
People who complain about the anomalies not going where they want should think for 2 seconds. The cursor isn't where they will land, it's the direction you throw them in. Great game though, 5/5. Just frustrating enough to make me keep playing.
Uber, it either takes more than 7 seconds, or it's broken. I held down the button for 45 seconds after I lost, still doesn't work. If it's the former, I don't want to waste time on it. Still 1 star.
I only get to the stack of brown bricks before I lose, even if I hold right the entire time. 1/5 for being unfunny, having false instructions and/or being broken.
Liking the new ship graphics, and the other updates so much I upped it a star. Just noticed a bug, I think. My difficulty skyrocketed after I kept it paused for 5 minutes. I had to shoot an enemy 10 times with a fully maxed laser to kill it. Not a big deal, but just figured I'd post it.
"it is almost the last stand itsself only in a diffrent style" First, that contradicts itself. Second, the ONLY things similar to the Last Stand are the zombies. The game's alright, but it needs more than running back and forth shooting everything. It seems that all you need to do is get a high DPS weapon to win. Oh, and what's this pop-up that everyone is downrating the game for? I just configured the blocker built-in to Firefox and I never get pop-ups anymore.
I don't know if it's just me, but I can hardly see my ship sometimes, as the background is close to the same color. Again, I don't know if it's just me, but the difficulty seems to be a bit high. Rockets seem useless, and enemies damage you from far away. The whole game seems to be about upgrading your spread + fire rate and running in circles. Still "pretty fun" though.
Wow. Love the title, story, and ending, though it was kinda unexpected. I was also wondering why it was titled "Don't Look Back", until I got to his wife/girlfriend. Slightly frustrating when you fall off a cliff and land on a snake, but not too hard. Never thought I'd be giving a retro game 4/5 but.. this one deserves it.
Well it at least has the highscores API, but it might be a while until it gets badges. Makes me want to play Sins of a Solar Empire again. It might benefit from some re-balancing though, as the missles seem pretty useless, you can easily use lasers for the missions (haven't tried them all yet). 4/5
Does it really matter if it's partially based on/accidental copy of Amorphous+? This game is way more addicting than Amorphous anyways. As for the lag issue, I haven't gotten any, and the instructions also say how to reduce it. I just can't stop playing it, even if I can't beat the medium legion.
The "Too much Contra" achievement is done by typing the Konami code which booksnake said below - Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A. Typing "contra" doesn't give you the achievement...
It's too easy, once you get rockets you can destroy turrets in one hit, and small mechs in two. The flamer does moderate - high damage but is kind of useless with it's range. Other than that, and minor glitches, this is a great game. 4/5, I hope to see new games from Berzerk Studios and maybe some badges...?
Very.. um.. boring. All you do is fling a frog. That's it. No point in playing whatsoever. Reminds me of other games like Kitten Cannon, which should of never been made.
