Sarge:"So, tell me again, how our own AT gun got destroyed."
Soldier:"It shot itself at blank point range as it tried to take on a single soldier."
Sarge:"....Where do they get such idiots for the AT gun?"
Game is overall nice but the trees are horrible, enemies getting too strong and i had all buyable upgrades at world 6. Nice for a short game, but not something you want for the long run.
I dislike very much the position of some buttons like the big red X-button, i open evey time the link without wanting it. The pause screen with the "Let´s go" button is also misplaced, causing the stage to start. And i had to restart some earlier stages to gain money and exp for the later stages, cause the enemies are getting unhealthy stronger.
Really great made game, its really worth of replaying it. But i have an problem with the unique chars. At the end, i had enough money and crystals to buy and upgrade an whole army, but i don´t have all unique ones, even after i had enough fame and honor. So, could we get an last chance to get all unique chars at the end before facing the king? It was really frustrating with the normal ones and one unique char.
My advice would be, make the game longer, make the map or maps bigger and make a bigger build spot. The enemies should have more variety, like zombie and cars with junk from bottom of the beach if they come from the water or zombies on skateboards would look great too to have finally fast moving ones. And more turrets with more upgrades! Like a launcher turret, that throws grenades, which can be uprgaded or a upgrade it into a rocket launcher. A napalm airstrike with a flame line would be good to have. I shoot with a mounted turret, and yet do i miss zombies if i shoot behind them? And if explosions are happening in the lines of the undead, no one of them get hurts? Its always a fun to shoot at the explosive one to have watch the pieces of the zombies flying around and have less fiends to shoot at.
I played the game through and i have the feeling, that is incomplete. 3 turrets, which one is actually usefull, with not enough upgrades and a too small area to place them. Enemies are nice, but i miss some of the typical zombies. And the map is little, one spot on the map is confusing, why are cars comming from the water? And last but not least, the story. The guy wants to his girlfriend, good, but why the hell doesn´t he go into the city to find her? Or even try to rescue her? And why the hell does he have a turret on his pickup? And from where are the turrets comming? And who is the driver of the black car at the beginning?
Okay, what is the sense of support? Support is either too weak and makes only partial damage or to get more medals to spend, you aren´t allowed to use any support. It almost feels wrong to click on the support button during battle.
Why is everyone saying, it is easy? Im playing it on normal and get beaten up like a sandbag, because there is no money to use. I can´t upgrade because i need the money for the troops. And my troops seems to be nearsighted and deaf as they completly ignore, that the gates are under attack. Sorry, but there must be done some changes.
Hmm, place melee troops near the gates.. and there is range upgrade for every unit to make it see larger. Initially just mass up archers and you will be fine (though, for experts there are many other ways to win as well)
Is a really great game. Everyone already said something about upgrades/customization. My idea would be to handle perks over the heads, like Snake gives +dmg with melee but -dmg with the minigun etc. And to unlock killcombos with new ranks would add spice to the game. The only thing i really miss in that game is a turret or something else, that gives me really fire cover to one side, not that jolly heli, that likes to hang out over me for a very damn short time.
American Bazooka:Hm, there is a enemy tru-OMG! A tree is between my comrades! DIE TREE! German Stielhandgranadenwerfer:Oh yeah, my fellow is about to cross the line, i have to stop him!
Either there is a reward for friendly fire or or both sides have soldiers with aiming issues.
Man, as i first saw the piranha, i was thinking: That is some ugly piranha, only a piranha mother could love. And then this song popped in my head: You are beautiful, no matter what they say! Besides that, i love the game, if the controls weren´t that buggy and if i could eat these damn sharks! Stupid seed killers.
How much i like the game, couldn´t stop playing it for 2 hours, i am disturbed by the fact, that your loot stat have no effect if you need lifes, i mean, come on! I have my loot stat full and get no lifes from the chests, pirates and sharks, that are mysteriously swimming around and getting more for no reason. Atleast are the bosses nice enough to give you a life, if you need one. Because of that, only 4 of 5. And it needs to be changed, the pirates are alot worser than the bosses! Give me a life, ya rotting scumbags!
I must say, interesting concept of a game. Good graphic, nothing complicated about the mechanic but the KI is cheating, i tell ya! Why, you ask? The KI makes for my taste way too many combos with the falling blocks, that are comming from above. And the squird is the highway cheater. Not only are my combo attacks vanishing after i got him down for the first time with the first attack, that prick didn´t died as his lifebar was at zero, simply playing along and healed himself with a green combo, that got him half of his lifepoints back. My char is too weak, nothing to help to gain more hp from the combos.
It seems i came across a bug! Mission 6, final wave, the enemy gets in and launches a missile, okay, but the lights keep on and a second missilie comes out, but that shouldn´t happen! And another one, where do the enemy gets in? And so on, got blown up, okay, nuke them away, nuked away but still are the lights burning, shooting off missiles like they want to get rid of them, but no enemy entered the base! ARGH! Again, nuking around, and still the lights are on! Missiles, come to daddy!
That should be fixed. And the last mission is really senseless, as the weapons seems to be far too underpowered to handle this, thanks to the few points.
Great game, good mechanics, interesting story, but, the upgrades and the semi weapons are the negative points. The semi weapons and the shield recharger are not really there, i mean, i can´t feel their effect on the battlefield, it is like, they give something little nice and that is, nothing more. And what is the reason for increasing your invasion fleet? I still have only a maximum of 6 ships, not more as it shouldn´t be if i buy that upgrade. What is up with the main guns? I choosed for the first gun the railgun, pretty good, had enough firepower and so on. But as i had to choose my second main gun, i was insulted. No upgraded railgun? The hellfire gatling is a joke with its fast usage of the energy and the bombs don´t make enough damage or are exploding in the middle of nothing, because my ships already killed the targets. That should be changed for the next game. Maybe make all four weapons as beginner gun and later choose between different upgrades of that gun.
The number of waves you have to defeat to take a system gradually increases in the game(ie it takes longer for your ground forces to take a system). Increasing the size of your invasion force makes the ground battles go faster, counteracting that effect. If you increase the size of your invasion force early on you may only have to take on a few waves of ships to win. If you neglect increasing the size of your invasion force later battles will be very long.
Hmm, place melee troops near the gates.. and there is range upgrade for every unit to make it see larger. Initially just mass up archers and you will be fine (though, for experts there are many other ways to win as well)
