This game idea is from the 80s guys - if not before? I remember writing code into a C64 to play it (from an old mag called 'Byte'). Of course it didn't have much for graphics back then ;)
Great idea, needs massive increase in difficultly, and then focus on making the upgrades meaningful. unfortunately, it will likely mean getting rid of 1-3 of the upgrade attributes to keep the game fun and fast.
Here was bug displayed when dying as ifrit on the first level.

Have to agree with most folks, once you get a couple upgrades, it stops being a game. There is no point to it or feeling of purpose. It has some game mechanics that could go somewhere, but it is not there today.
key to the game is the helicoptor and the biggest tank. Just build these and win every battle. Way too much money in the game for it to be a concern after the first few levels.
To win really easy: focus on mana regen and production speed the first few days. turrets don't matter till day 4-5. Build almost completely riders - there is no penalty for there death, so use them to boost your exp (0.5 per for 5 mana, versus 1 for 20 mana). Over the game needs more balance to make one want to bother with the turrets and creatures. Love the idea, well done!
