I have all the upgrades and just want the last few achievements. So I launched the dillo and left the page. When I got back, the dillo was still bouncing. Apparently it is possible to upgrade the bounce so much that you will never die if you just let the dillo ball up, because it just keeps on bouncing - no forward motion, just up and down...
