It was FANTASTICALLY nice to actually have a puzzle game to play here. I like the build-up of mechanic complexity you've got here (though when you started overlaying different rules on the same piece, it could get a bit tough to see what's going on). That one complaint aside, I rather enjoyed this game, and it was a breath of fresh air among all these idlers. 5/5 and thank you for making it!
My personal gripe with this is that there's waaaay too many puzzles. Not that there's too much, but that these sort of devolve into meaningless patterns real quick, rather than being a challenge to find a picture in the blocks.
Been having a problem with the shield upgrades and crafting. I pushed it early to get good shields. They have like 16 damage and I can craft between 30 and 30 strength. Except I consistently get about two points below whatever they're at, regardless of how well I can make my shields. :P
Minor problem I noticed with the badges after playing through: If you get three stars the first time, you can't actually get the Record Breaker achievement xD
Pretty good game! :) Unfortunately, it's pretty finnicky about where and when you can hit down to activate stuff. I spent about ten minutes running around with only one thing left to do before I managed to figure out that the black spot in that early tunnel IS a door, it just didn't let me in the last four or five times I tried.
Uhm... Maybe I'm stupid or something, but where's the bit to save your game? >_>; Every time I reload, I have to start over. Makes achievements and later levels kind of pointless.
My question: Are there any differences between characters or are they just visual skins? If so, it'd be cool if each one had unique bits :) Like the first ninja you unlock could have your scrolls last longer (cuz he has the one on his back), stuff like that would be cool.
