8000 goes rather quickly, if you have good cpu it can do 200ticks/sec - so in 40 sec it will use them up. (but don't forget, that depending on your progress it runs game a lot faster)
@Snaks, if you can't manage your money then don't buy things. Also, you try to shoot a backwards crossbow while keeping a consistent fast firing speed with another. The shop is more than likely randomly generated, so if you're going to complain about the amount of doors vs keys, don't buy the keys. Your fifth point is an opinion, I was able to avoid almost every homing attack.
It's an interesting game, it's enjoyable, but not for long. The menu was kind of annoying because when I went to go hunt, it wasn't registering it or something. Kinda' got stuck hunting too, I just spam shot everything and nothing else happened.
