Yay, space in 5. :D Generic Tips follow (not a walkthrough) up to you if it's spoiler or not. You really have to understand how the upgrade spending works. You are rewarded for buying a lot of "upgrades of the same type at a time" instead of 1 square each day. So on each day focus just on a single type of upgrade and buy the most you can.

2.67m 3 is probably doable with a little luck
