@Kerblotto it just means to have that much energy in hand at the time, so if the quest says "Hold 50 energy at one time", that means you need to have 50 energy available for use.
@PotatoCh__ip the fairy is an exploder type, so you have to kill them before they explode, in most cases, which is a one-tap kill unless you have high enough stats.
So, I was on a run, super confident about winning, and I was on Undead Utopia 4, with wisdom 85 and adv. Judgement, I was about to die, but I used Judgement right before the last Golem attacked again, and I won, no boss fight or anything! Apparently the whole "can't get one-tapped" ability doesn't count if the fight hasn't even started yet lol.
