first off getting the 5 day badge does have a factor of luck in it but also strategy and skill first upgrade your launcher and band to lvl 2 continue upgrading as best as you can and try to get alot of money purchase a parachute asap and the next day launch if you see a yellow hit it before deploying parachute then just float all the way down grabbing any coin you see if you get high enough about 1500 feet ate the end of the run (I had 85 dollars and some cent) you should at least have 10 thousand buy and e rocket and as much band and launcher as possible if you don't have parachute at least by day 3 restart or it's impossible to get enough money to upgrade by day 5 by day 5 you should have max or close to max launcher and band launch and at the height of you launch use you rocket you should get to space if only 1 away on each launcher and band
Pretty good game could do with a little work eg. harder bosses more weaponry less durable enemies all in all though good story line can't wait to see a sequal
