Easy way to beat this game is to grind for top tier sword and armor. Money spending: 1. Money gain (up to the top with all the buffs); 2. Damage gain up to the max; 3. Top sword; 4. Top armor. 5. Steamroll all the bosses with damage multiplier potion. 6. Profit
Raw Meat's strategy for level 14 is actually a little bit easier than the rest, making it manageable! With it I could FINALLY beat it, although I'm still giving this game 2/5 :D
I have 3 suspects in the end (collected all evidence), but when I try to accuse one of them it contradicts with the fixed deaduction "Lugroan didn't fail". Other two variants result in both objectives fail. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?
No, that is not a bug... you're missing one small, very important clue. Check the walkthrough if you can't find it (you'll find it in the options panel). Thanks for playing!
BUG at the beginning of the game. If you exit the cell with the dead body, say goodbye to Acka and then return to the cell and inspect the nerd's body (his missing brain), the speech balloon appears on the place where Acka stood before.
PEOPLE! Like Isean from the top comments, I needed 1 more zombie to win, but he's nowhere to be found. It turned out that he was 'hiding' in the fog of war just beyond the visibility radius. Shoot blindly there and eventually (and hopefully) you'll get the last one, like I did. Also, never get to the last fight before all defences are up.
@Omgee, I 'obtained' this beautiful music via Windows' standard Sound Recorder and a few simple steps. 1st right-click on the Speakers icon in the lower right of the Windows Taskbar. Select 'Recording Devices'. Set 'Stereo Mix' as the default recording device. Then go to Programs - Accessories - Sound recorder. Press 'Record' and go back to the game to start the music. Sound Recorder will record ANY sound besides the music, so just leave the game running for a minute. The music loop is 45 seconds long. By the way, the game is as great as the OST, so 5 stars and kudos to the author!
To the Dev.: Cool! Thanks for the rubber chicken! :D I'm an 'oldgamer', but I've never really played 'Monkey Island'... Your AMOC series is like Lovecraft meets Pratchett (and that was also 'hinted' in your hilarious ending credits), both of which I love. That's the kind of game that is fun and can deliver a message of good, and that's why it's the best :) Thank you for your awesome creativity and style!
Thank you so much for such a wonderful comment! *_*
We are really glad you appreciated our game, and we deeply hope you'll like our next adventures as well! :D
Wow, thanks for answering every single comment, hope you enjoy them :O Remembered a freudist typo at the end of the game in the main char notes: "HOT TO KILL MIST: 1. ..." Yes, Mist is surely hawt, at least in her everyday form (not so hawt as Daphne or Lora, but...) ;D
Eagerly waiting for your new game! You're the best!
To be honest it isn't a typo: it was a test to verify if the players were reading the notepad. You did it, and, for this reason, you just won a prize.
You won, hum, a rubber chicken. We'll send you your prize ASAP.
Also, Mr. Gilbert loves you!
Another typo (in Cross' dialogue): "They leave me HER to tell you this". BTW, in some cases (in other parts of the series) his name is written as "Mobbett" (double 'T'), in some other - "Mobbet"
Great series and a great story! Humour, characters, music are very well done. One of the most interesting point-n-clicks that I've ever played, 5/5. Typo (begins with "I've lost enough time"): "...Daphne HIT it very well..."
Thank you for your rating! :D
About the typos, thank you again, we're taking note of all of them; we made A LOT of them, but we'll try to fix them all as soon as possible; we have not much time, because we're trying to release a new game soon! ;)
A very nice game! Great atmosphere, humor and puzzles (although sticky mirror part is a bit messed up, IMO). Typo "Mobbett Cross": "A frequent COSTUMER (wut?) at the TS..." :)
Thank you very much ^_^
About the sticky mirror, maybe you're right, it was hard for a lot of players... but nothing you can't go through with a small effort ;)
Thank you for the typo alert: we'll correct it ASAP!
