You have more chances to complete the game, when you start from the beginning, even though, you've reached a checkpoint, because you have more chances to get bonus tools.
BTW After you complete the game, you can choose, if you go for a highscore or if you just end the game.
I've reached Level 47 and i got a score of over 125.000!
