Very fun game. I loved that death isn't meaningless and with your limited healthpool you are always dancing close to it. The only points of improvement are the very limited amount of different types of enemies and the fact that the game becomes a bit boring once you get full legendary weapons, full artefact slots and a high level. Keep up the good work!
I got a higher score on my fully single run compared to my run where I settled for a guy who looked kinda similar to my dream guy at the very beginning. I guess there is a message in there somewhere.
Another great game in the zombie detective series and a nice goodbye to the series with an episode with the highest stakes yet. The first real murder mystery in the game, with actual lives on the line. Though unfortunately also the first dead detective game where I got truly stuck on. The hint keeps saying that I forget some hints in Phooey's office but even after checking the facebook walkthrough (the ingame link is wrong though, that one links to a private link) I could not figure out what I missed. So even though I know who the true culprit is, I'll never be able to catch them. Still a great game and I wish you all the best in your future!
Thank you for your nice comment. I've just uploaded a new version that should fix all the bugs that have been mentioned up til now, including the link to the walkthrough!
Great game! Though the ending felt a bit anticlimatic to me. After clearing dozens of dungeons, slaying the four unique dragons and hatching them for myself, collecting over 200 characters and finally finding the boss room it turns out that it's just a generic minotaur? That's really dissapointing
Really fun game. Gives me a lot of Deponia vibes. Some more helpful advice could be useful (for example: the cable is too short, the cork doesn't fit, the key doesn't fit) but I'm sure that those are just a few small issues that'll improve in the next chapter. And I'm used to having to search around in a point and click adventure game from the older titles. The only real point of critique I have is the very last action you need to do to find the artifact. I spend a long time searching for it, even with the lightbulb hint system. There is just no visual distinction to distinguish the hiding spot from any other background wall. Still, don't let that minor problem discourage you. Keep up the great work in the second chapter.
I can't believe I didn't see this pop up earlier! I'm a week late to the release of this awesome game! Also I like how the bigger plot is slowly unraveling even though Margh doesn't have a clue yet
Awesome game, I really loved that you added the option to keep on playing and improving after winning. That way I could explore the different building types that I missed because I had to focus production to beat the darkness.
Great game but needs a bit more variety in monsters and bosses. 6 enemies and 2 bosses (that are just bigger versions of enemies) is a bit lacking. But since it's still actively in development I'm sure that this'll get better in the near future.
Great game. I can say without doubt that it's my new favorite in the series. All the small improvements every game really make it a better experience. And the case was a challenge to deduce without reducing it to guessing.
Also a quick lore question I just noticed. Why isn't one-eye wearing his flower necklace? Is that not canon in this series anymore?
Oooh, so you read the comics? Yeah, the flower necklace is no longer canon. One of the cases of the desktop game will feature a similar story to the comics series, but with small changes like that one. Thank you for your support!
I have been playing for a few hours and so far the game is pretty easy. Almost every enemy dies in 2/3 hits. Only died twice in the beginning. Once because I forgot to buy healing potions and once because I thought the game would pauze if the inventory was open.
However I just read the comments and learned that I'll lose all my progress because I'm playing on Firefox. This is really too bad since I could have switched browsers if I knew that before I started playing. Maybe you could add a warning in the beginning that the saving feature doesn't work on Firefox?
Did you really lost your save? The warning message is a good idea, i will think about it
edit: I tried a new thing to solve this save issue; could you try again to see if it works?
Awesome! Another Zombie Detective game! I loved these from the original series (I wonder how many of the current players played those) and am very glad to see how this series is turning out! Can't wait to buy the steam game once that one comes out. (Also I hope to see soon more of my favorite character: One-eye)
Woohoo! You can't believe how happy I was to see one-eye in the thumbnail! I was so hoping to see him again after 'Death after death'. He's my favorite character
27/27! The nine deaths cat is no match for me! I wonder how you'll do it next time though, since we now know how our new nemesis/anti-hero looks like? Certainly since the brain police now knows how the thief looks too
Good question! But you see, Zombie Society is very big... and it's a total mess. It's not hard for someone as the Cat to lay in wait for ten-twenty years, create a new identity and start over as nothing happened. She'll be fine :)
Can you please add an undo button? I hate it when I click on the wrong place by accident and then forget what block was the wrong one, so I have to delete the entire row
