Darn, this game is so addictive! Unlocked all weapon designs, and a few more turns and I am back to the Castle Ruins (last area).
This game needs a sequel!
And I vote for the possibility to sell stuff. (I have over 2000 steel.)
This game is my absolute favorite in the line of time management games from flipline. But what's really frustrating about it is when the last enemy breaks the last weapon and your fellows run away although they would only have to open the chest. Just happened again. I could bite my desk. But still great game! 5/5!
Nice Gameplay, but you know that this game is the first of the series of Flipline Time Management games. Although I like the other games like Pancakeria or Jacksmith, this one is pretty pointless (in terms of the tips), because there is no shop where you can spend your money on upgrades like a doorbell or oven booster.
Papa's Pizzeria could use a makeover in my opinion.
How are you supposed to make level 27 without a walkthrough? This game jumps from medium to impossible. Absolutely frustrating, will never play it again.
It would be very helpful for players with german QWERTZ keyboards if the keys could be remapped, because steering the steam tank with your left hand stretched across the keyboard and the keys not corresponding to the direction (look at X and Z on a QWERTZ keyboard) is not annoying, but discouraging.
I have to make a second comment: When this bug shows up that I described before, it is impossible to start any other mission, so you have to reload the game.
I think I found a bug, because after dragging around a dozen units or so, you can't interact with the playing field any more, no units clickable or orderable, only option is to click "pause" and end the game. :(
I guess that I adopted the right strategy to solve all of the Puzzles (on the harder levels): Get one solved, try the next, and when you don't find a block that moves after 5-10 minutes, then do/play something different and come back later. :D
The game was fun until I reached level 9, there was a sharp rise in the level of difficulty. Although I looked for walkthroughs and tried to follow the described strategies, there was absolutely no way for me to beat such an overwhelming mass of enemies.
@ilmoncio: I think there is no need for directly countering the Invisibility of Ninjas/Engineers/Iron Guards (and in some way Amazons), the challenge is to counter them with the layout of your defense tower alley.
@meghanb: Yeah, the first few times I came across the Amazons, I got really frustrated, but then I got around it by constructing something like two islands or waves of towers. The first wave where you should prefer long range weapons like the Balista or Catapult takes away their armour, the second wave of defense towers (preferably rapid fire) finishes of the "stripped" Amazons. ;)
Played first three Splinter Cell Games, so I tried Stealth Hunter and found it quite thrilling, till I had to fight this clone. Didn't manage to kill him, that killed this otherwise good flash game for me.
