I honestly have no idea what's going on here. Maybe I'm dumb? The game seems fun, but pretty much all of the tooltips and descriptions are confusing. The animations are fun, and I can click to make numbers bigger, but other than that I have no idea what is happening.
What do the statuses for each job actually do? "Idle" "Fueling Self" "Offloading" all don't seem to indicate anything in particular. The jobs still produce resources at a constant rate, and I don't really see what they do.
"Offloading" - What does this mean? Some of the upgrades say "offloads into" but I have no idea what effect that does. Numbers are bigger and faster, sure.
I think it's a great concept. The way you changed combat to be a sort of skill chaining thing is great. Having said that, I think the way you did it was a poor implementation. If the player had some sort of say on at least ONE color on the board, it would be more skill based. I know one class can change the board, but you have to waste 2-3 turns to get to that. In addition, the heal and armor tiles are almost useless, and seem to be there just to slow down your progress.
I'm sorry, but this kind of game enrages me. I hate that I can't achieve rank objectives from lower ranks. I could go on a hot streak and achieve the some objective but not get credit, but then spend 20 minutes trying to get it again.
I found a glitch. I have the level 6 ovens and auto cooker, so I don't know if it makes a difference, but if you spam the "cook" button, snails get deducted each time you click, even if the burger isn't cooked.
The gameplay is amazing, but you just can't play enough of the story at once. You have to wait an hour... I get that you want to make money, but make the story less punishing on time.
