I feel that having redundant bonuses shouldn't happen. When you get a piercing shot upgrade, it should refresh any piercing shots you already have, rather than take up a new slot. Since you have no way of controlling what bonuses you get, you can get really screwed out of valuable double score/more ship boosts because a slot is taken up by an extra shoot free/piercing shot.

More actual options in gear would have been nice. I was hoping for something with a little bit of range and maybe some better offensive spells. Also, a one click option for sacrificing equipment would have been good.

Solid game. Lots of fun. Would really like to not have to reset all my spells every time I go down a floor though.

Awesome game and colorblind mode is nice but honestly and option to tint the bullets would be helpful, particularly during the final boss. When everything is just bright white it get's kind of difficult to tell what's going to kill you and what isn't (like how the pulse he fires blends into the stars). I couldn't even tell what was a bullet and what was my shield.

Certainly needs more diverse upgrades. Recharge rate, mini coil fire rate, electrical damage rate, etc. Fairly easy.

Very artsy. Wall jumps dont seem to work too well. You can't control direction or power of them and that can get really frustrating late in the game. Also, to beat it, just jump up and down as you move so the clones all stay in a small area. figured that out be level 3. 4/5 for great concept but somewhat messy execution. Good game though.

If you're going to make a half-assed excuse of a game at least make it a mildly entertaining half-asses excuse of a game like the game i did or a walk right game.

funny and still qualifies as a game... sorta
nice game. only played 3 levels so i don't know what the layout of the others is but i think you could make a really good game if you made balancing just a bit more difficult (think teetering edges instead of fulcrums; just a thought)

also, in a game where 2 hits can kill you, you need to be able to dodge and attack at the same time.
Ok i liked the first one better. And is it just me or is the game really laggy? Nice overall but the upgrading system of the original was more fun even though there were fewer spells.

A clever use of some of flash's more obscure functions but no flash game should require you to change your computer settings or rely so heavily on extra hardware and software. still good though 4/5
