I want to be complimentary of the game. But... It's definitely not an Idle game, the storage part of the game is tedious and the lack of high scores or achievements, means less incentive to carry on. I love the concept of the game, but it's definitely lacking something that would make me want to keep coming back to it. Will wait on giving it a rating until i've got a bit further, but suspect it will be a 3 at the moment.
Am I doing something wrong? Meat isn't being produced. I've got workers in there, got 100 water and 100 barley, 4 animals that live die and get harvested, but no meat is coming ut of it. Help..... Kinda stuck as a result of this.
Seems like a game that could have had some potential. Shame that the basic things like saving and getting rid of bugs have been ignored. I guess this is another that fell by the way side.
Not impressed. Very slow game, which becomes boring very quickly and the only way around it is to spend money all over the place. Dev definitely being far too greedy with this.
Love the game so far, very playable, decent graphics and interface and like the way the prestige system works and thankfully it goes from a clicker to idle game very quickly. Absolutely hate the pricing of Kreds for the upgrades though, if it was just a few Kreds i'd be very likely to buy some to give support for the game, but at those prices no chance. Also, the "planning module" seems like a complete waste of space. You really need to add some more tool tips though, as some things are a real guessing game until you figure them out.
I like the concept of the game a lot and aside from what others have said about it being a bit of a guessing game as to what needs to be done, which I can see has been worked on, the amount of time waiting to get to rank 5 in order to do the first settle war, is seriously painful for the first run, with nothing to do but stare at the screen, it makes interest in continuing dwindle very quickly. Being a patient fan of idle games, i've persevered and got to rank 5, but I could see many who wouldn't bother waiting, as it simply takes too long, especially when it's 1 legacy point and then basically repeat...
Loving the additional content that has now been added, it gives the game so much extra playability. So i've adjusted my game rating upwards accordingly... :)
Not sure why it's taken me so long to find this game, but very happy I did. what a great game, would have preferred a longer story mode just because I enjoyed it so much, but it's perfect as it is nonetheless. Now to have a play with the endless waves bit.
Would have given the game more than a 2. But for the same reason others have said, the game simply stops dead at the "Lets start cleaning the planet" point and seeing as the game appear to have had no updates, it doesn't seem like it may go any further. Will revisit in the future to see if anything else gets added.
The game feels very slow and repetitive and with no boss stones dropping, it really feels like there is no reason to continue too far in. Will try again at a later date, when hopefully things will have improved.
Playing my 3rd fresh run after todays update.
Every skill is learnable by every class. I think this shouldn't be the case. If you choose Magician dark skills should lock, if you choose dark magician light skills should lock, same with actions, some houses and furniture. It makes building s specific magic character pointless otherwise.
EG. right now I am a potion making, spell using, body stealing, demonologist, who can read palms, hold seances, tend animals, has murdered people, raised the dead, controls beasts, etc, yet I am also virtuous with no evil points. The virtue system doesn't quite work in it's current way, I shouldn't be able to be good, neutral and evil at the same time.
On a side note, i'd also like to see a much wider selection of equipment, that area of the game feels rather neglected.
My comments are intended as constructive, as I would really love to see you continue developing further, I think it is pretty good, but has the potential to be a lot more.
Loving the game. I do seriously think the speed of researching Astronomy needs raising though with it having so many more levels than others of it's type. I'm now at a point where everything I can do in the game at this point is done, so i'm literally sitting with Lore and Astronomy on the screen slowly ticking over. I could go back and repeat various adventures or go to the catacrypts, but other than that, there is now nothing else to do now except watch 2 little numbers grow ever bigger.
This game really feels like it has potential, but....... Having played pretty much every idle game on Kong, this one feels really tedious and labourious and to me it feels like unless your willing to spend kreds on it, your seriously stunted, I don't mind supporting devs by buying ingame stuff if the game makes me want to play deep into it, but yeah, this game seriously has it's priorities the wrong way around.... Get the game right and make it worth investing time in, then give bonuses for people who want to support it...
I've loved the idle games on kongregate over the years, but I hadn't played one for a fair while as they had all become a bit of the same thing and the genre had got a bit boring. This game really adds something different, besides your hilarious humour in the game. it's not just a watch the numbers grind to infinity and beyond, it gives you plenty to do while the numbers do their thing. I've been playing for a good few days now and yet happily still feel like a complete newbie looking at the folks in chat and what they are up to, yet at the same time, feel like I am always making progress, which makes me keep on coming back for more. Next stop for me is Gordon Ramsey Bolton and yeah, I saw what you did there, lol. Great work, keep it up. :)
Given 4 stars for the game being as it it, a fun little sinmple game to pass some time. But... It does feel a little limited, would like to see some stats, would like more options on buying and selling shares, but won't be too harsh or constructive as I saw the comment saying Blacksmith Lab 2 being developed, although would love to know if that is any time due, as that comment is quite old now.
Oh and to add to my earlier comment.... Once you complete tier 9... Then what? Not even a thank you for playing, you've won, a picture of a 5 leaf clover or nothing? Bit of a dissapointment, waiting to get through tier 9 to be confronted by absolutely nothing, not even an end of game.
I've given this game a 3 star rating as it is somewhat limited, but don't want to come across too harsh, as it is an enjoyable game for the first couple of tiers, while it is fresh and new. But by Tier 6, the fun slowly vanishes and is replaced by boredom, once there is nothing else to spend gold on and it is a case of purely sitting staring at the screen, waiting for the new colour mutation to show up. By the end of tier 8 waiting for the tier 9 colour to show, it felt quite painful. The game really needs some other elements adding, to keep a player engaged, because sitting watching the science number go up and watching the obsolete gold figure increase, isn't enough.
I've really enjoyed playing this game, I am a fan of idle games and this is a good example, but, Ive got to a point where there is essentially nothing left to do. All trophies and awards got, which feels like a shame, as some of the other idle games have a lot longer game life, but are a lot less fun. Will now have to wait and see what this big expansion reveals before playing again. Good luck, hopefully you can reignite interest for those with time served in the game, who have hit that brickwall.
We are doing our best not to fail you! We'll take this opportunity to give a little update on the status of development: graphics and technical implementation of the new factions and the majority of new upgrades and trophies is now complete and undergoing testing. Old factions have been tweaked a bit, hopefully maintaining balance as much as possible. Building-related upgrade prices have been reworked to provide a better sense of progress. On the technical side, we are still working on performance and stability issues. This update will also probably include upgrade sorting options and other small improvements to the user interface.
Loving most of the new upgrades. Well thought out. But, yup there has to be a but... The fonts and colouring of the text on the game screen are doing my eyes in. The grey and white on the bars is difficult to see and it all now feels very squashed. I've checked on 4 different PCs with different res and setups and it looks the same on all of them. That bit needs looking at again please.
Do you have water storage on the fields? (Separate building). If animals die of thirst, then this might be an issue.
