Only played easy mode but it is possible to beat it in easy mode. Get the katana unit (the last unit upgrade). Just build katana only after that and even grenadiers can't do much against it. You will lose a couple of battles before you get katana but once you have it, the game will be a cakewalk on easy mode. After katana, upgrade attack and defense, then life and speed. After that get the spells upgrade and the second last spell with katana is just too overpowered.

Guard: "Boss, do you need any escorts?" Boss: "No, just patrol the area randomly for any sign of intruders." Guard: "Boss, do you want a gun?" Boss: "Of course not, you guys are around after all." Guard: "Boss, please shout if you see the assassin!" Boss: "What? I can shout? No, I'm sorry but I don't know how to do that."

I got Tier 5 Brilliant Tutor of Combat. Final Score Potential is 135445. I got twice Grayward's score but I only got tier 5 :(

Illuminator Dude! You just completed the Illuminator achievement in Sonny and won the Illuminator badge and 30 points! I love the assassin NPC. She basically crush most of the bosses, including the final boss.
