Some tips:
-Gold can be collected from killing enemies, destroying pots, chests, destroying emptying chests, storehouses, and blowing up the explosives
-When training guards, shooting enemies with large amounts of health so the guards can kill them easier
-In my experience, the ballista is the best weapon for the tower
