Liking it less and less for one main reason - no auto-pause when you leave the screen (which seems to happen way more in this game than in others). This is a pretty much a standard feature in arcade/shooter/action games!
Hmm...seems like a step down from the original. Not quite as fun, and feels a little more chaotic (not in a good way). Original was definitely a 5/5, but this is more like a 4/5.
I feel that this game suffers from a problem that many other puzzle games have. It starts off fun, then starts adding un-fun "challenge" elements (like the one-way and color-specific gates). These kinds of elements always feel artificial to me and end up ruining a good number of puzzle games, just like this one. IMO, the mark of a great puzzle game is staying simple while increasing the challenge, not the addition of extra obstacles and absurd complexity to make the game harder.
Brilliant! I love it when I come across a game like this - games that challenge not by making the levels increasingly impossible, but by changing the gameplay level to level. Well done.
"Faster run" would be a nice upgrade. Gets a bit tedious having to do the entire level over each time, and running through it quicker might help. Otherwise, love the game!
The best part for me was that you implemented keyboard control for everything. I hate games that use the keyboard for controls and mouse for menu navigation. Great mining game, too!
I disagree with the comment that you should add more levels or abilities. Part of what makes this game so fun and unique is its simplicity. The length seemed perfect to me, too.
@SolstaceWinters: They increase the speed of all packets being transmitted throughout the network. So, you can build them anywhere and they help, as long as they're connected to Odin City by the network.
