Cube Level is supposed to update after each boss is defeated.
Cube size updates after each phase20 boss (i.e. new tier). Cube size does not refer to the dimensions of the cube or even the value. If cube size says "100x100x100", that means each tick produces a cube worth 100 cubes of that color. Ignore the inaccuracy with the statistic.
An option to disable mining power growth on a toggle would be great, as at higher wisdom upgrades, it hurts Gem gain by reducing the possible time window to insta-mine the last damageable [*NIV*R*E] (tagged for spoilers, because that's what matters).
@Andrewdoesgamnig, There are more upgrades than meet the eye at first, you just have to progress the story enough. @ArthurF434, while you can't always say you want 10 pickaxes, there is an upgrade that allows you to craft up to 99 more pickaxes by holding shift.
A little bit of a bug, if you leave the trip screen after clicking the rebirth button and return to the screen clicking for the remainder of the 10 clicks, it will not rebirth, even though the counter resets.
Dragon, you want to delay bosses by killing as little enemies up until around the spread ships come, as it gets you more treasure, more gold. Also start with lvl 4 and lvl 3 loot, speed helps because it makes you get to chests faster and miss more shots early on.

SecurityGuard2: "Here you go." SecurityGuard2 gives a drink to his imaginary friend and walks off, he didn't even recieve a "Thanks." :(
