Not often I say this but I was genuinely sad when it ended. Puzzles not the hardest but something about the graphics and colour scheme that was amazingly relaxing and fun to play! A longer, harder (giggity) version would definitely make a great sequel sometime!
Halfway through the game when asked to rate this, I gave it a 4/5. Funny, clever, a story you wanted to see to the end. However, after the space bar mash up at the end, when, which despite my very best efforts and my wrist now hurting so badly I need paracetamol, I STILL wasn't fast enough to defeat the cat. Therefore I have got to rate it 1, because as far as I'm concerned it is unplayable when it comes to the end. Which is sad, as I thought it had so much going for it...
At Level 7 I seem to constantly hit my talent barrier. It's amazing how the removal of some lines can make my head go completely blank! 5/5 game though.
Having FINALLY achieved the platinum loot trophy (and therefore the imp), I'll share how I did it. 1) Go for everything you know you can safely reach, kills and loot, as they all build up. Don't dismiss a single coin or a bandit just because you can't be bothered, they all add up. 2) The two most valuable bonuses for me were magnet and invincibility. When you have those, go nuts! Get everything you can. 3) Kills added more to my bounty than loot, so if its one route for loot and another for kills, if you feel you can, do the kills. It adds up far more. And 4), relax! Stress blurs reactions! Have fun!
Normally I wouldn't accuse a game of being luck based, but I just had a game where literally only 4 pills spawned throughout the game. If this can happen once it means it could theoretically happen an infinite number of times. So I guess this is now just a 'play until you luck in' badge. Shame, because I think the game is great fun. Just looks like I'm settling for the easy for now.
The idea and premise of the game are pretty god, with lots of nice little touches and details. As for the execution and actual play, there's nothing I can say that isn't already echoed in every comment!
