The bad parts part 2: Artificial difficulty is very high (those eye variety monsters are a huge pain to deal with only because it's hard to make sure you're targeting them correctly, and then those stunlock ice snakes are pretty annoying too). The ice levels are some bad Pokemon wannabe stages. If you leave a quest for later and proceed to a different area, you won't be able to pick up its follow-up quest from the new sigil, making travel back and forth necessary if you want to finish all quests (tip: don't waste your time). Crafting is excessively annoying since you have to do it one item at a time. I'm using quick slot items far more than quick slot abilities, so it's annoying that I have keyboard shortcuts for abilities rather than items. I guess it depends on your 'class' choice.
The bad parts part 1: the plot disappeared around the time I reached the center town, and in the end cutscene, nothing was really explained. The battle system based on stamina is awkward, the bosses are too easy, you won't need even a tenth of the money you're bound to gather, emerald / sapphire / ruby / gold nodes spawn very rarely (I got ONE gold node in the whole game, and not enough of the other nodes to gather 6 of any kind of shard to make a full gem). Targeting is very difficult and positioning of yourself and monsters can be very deceptive. Ranged weapons are almost useless due to that. Never once was my pet in any danger of dying, even when I had it tank the final boss by itself, so that makes the whole hatching system rather unappealing (certainly better than the first one, though).
So I managed to: Claim every little corner of my city, destroy the zombie-spawning portal, develop a cure for undeath, AND create a new government. Epic.
After the nightmare of 32, and the slightly easier, but still extremely frustrating, 64, finding the last 128 pixels was ridiculously easy. Even the mini-maze in the end felt like a total breeze. Advice? Well... if you're getting close to something, I guess a good indicator would be a distance of one or two "pixels", but can't seem to get it, chances are you can get it at this level, but need to time your jumps better. Um... two pixels up in a narrow line to the left... can't get these without flying... when you reach the top level at 64 remember to check top left and right areas, there are some pixels hiding there. Ending was anti-climactic, but I won't spoil it.
I can't believe someone would pay money for this piece of pure trash. 1/5 because I can't rate lower, dev is an utter retard. My respect for Kongregate is greatly reduced.
17 is easy. All you have to do is look at the number of rotators and bridge pieces you get, and deduct the very few possible placements of the ramp that could be correct. It doesn't take long to test them, if you can't figure out which one is correct on first sight.
Sonny 2 got a badge. It'd be redundant to give one to Sonny 1 as well. Game too dark, too dull, overall didn't like it. I'll probably be skipping this badge.
Once you grasp the concept that, unlike what one would usually expect, building more units is more efficient than having only a few and maxing them out, the game becomes quite easy.
Aweman, I did the same thing, except it was not because of Yugioh which I've never played. Just thought having more from one type would help somehow. That's why I <3 Reinforced Breastplate, which I just won.
Altar that says: "TEMPORARY BECOMES PERMANENT" will create a potion in your Inventory that will permanently raise Endurance and Strength by 5. Altar that says "MUNDANE BECOMES EXTRAORDINARY" will take one of the white (normal) items into your inventory and turn it into a purple (epic) item of the same type. Altar that says "A GIFT OF MAGIC" will create a powerful orb that you can use to enchant one of your items. Note that while the first and the third function in any event, the second needs you to have at least one white item in your inventory to work, so it's a good idea to keep one along just in case.
