Game is okay but I just exploited a little with 3 guys with 5 strength and 5 charisma (starting gold, digging strength plus high AP) and one guy with 5 intelligence and 5 perception who I used entirely to identify items. Buying the permanent skill up is a waste of resources in only a 14 turn game, the gain does not matter and it's randomised, this was easy to complete.
I ended up beating the end boss by using a derp tactic. Just making a max health+healing class with shield and pressing switches and practically ignoring the damage. That is not a cool way to have to beat the end boss.
Okay I can't beat the last boss on insane mode for the life of me using a standard build. He covers the entire screen in his attack and you have to time taking the shield before he one shots you? Doing that means I'm guaranteed to take a hit from one of his attacks, meaning I can never survive long enough to finish it.
I have maxed everything and have level 32 Health using the Gorilla and due to the speed of the game at the end you can't really actively react to any objects, and I still haven't completed it. It's got a few bugs like losing all of your horde for no reason (or accidentally pressing right mouse button), and the only way I see myself winning this is getting lucky enough to get Bolt or Brute as all of the other mutations are just about useless.
I had a couple of issues with customers bugging out in front of the stand meaning no other customer would use it, and the customer just stays there for days.
Manually rapidly clicking pretty much gives you infinite ammo, though it's not really effective until you unlock burst shot. It allows you to permenantly have full burst on every shot. Kind of broken really.
The balance on the game is pretty terrible. Like being wiped out by a weak magic boss just because he triple ices your team and you're unable to cast spells, whereas I just annihilate any other boss double his level.
Okay 100% completed it now, 11 star resort, 100% popularity and all 94 missions done.
There's no actual "game complete" screen or anything though, but it's not a bad game, though I did just spent about 4-5 hours on something that was maybe 1-2 hours worth of actual game play and the rest was waiting for cotteges to upgrade or certain mission specifics.
I think a faster speed would greatly improve the game as most flash games people don't want to be spending a full evening on unless they are evolving or multiplayer.
Everything in the game went smoothly except missions relating to Cottage upgrades. I was getting stuck for 30 mins to an hour each mission because people would rather use lodges and level them up faster.
I just think that the only real downside to a smooth progression on this game focuses pretty much entirely around them. I had a 10 star resort with 95% popularity but only 2/3 fully upgraded cotteges when I owned 15 of them.
Well after 2 completes I was nearly dead from boredom knowing the only way to play safe and never die was to cast regen, poison and then spam slow until it bugged and cast twice causing the enemies to completely freeze allowing you to go attack stance and win.
Either way I won't play through a third time, it sounded like there was an extra level or boss but I'm not willing to find it.
