Advice from a fairly well experienced bloke (95k loot):
1) Use weapons freely; it is a very rare occurrence for them to run out
2) Flowers are your best friend. Prioritise them above chests and other things.
3) At later levels feel free to miss some high-score areas if it means surviving.
4) Attack enemies from ABOVE. The greatest danger comes from hesitating, or trying to attack from below. Staying high and taking initiative in attacking helps a lot.
5) Get lucky.
Loved RS1, RS2 only improved everything. Top top work SoulGame, your games are an absolute joy to play. Especially during finals week here in AUS.
If the blops gave 2-3X amount of cash, game is 4 or 5/5 easily, has great potential and new bloon types and abilities is always great.
However you spend 90% of the time replaying levels just to get one upgrade. Not fun at all. 2/5 purely for the potential.
Great game played it heaps and the updates are fantastic.
One area of improvement (still!) is possibly having the option of buying 'speedups' because for those who have played a long time the first few gates are a bit slow and an exercise in tedium, perhaps 10,000 coins for a speedup so you start at the speed of the 2nd gate or something would be cool imo.
Quite a good game, people complaining about the controls just need to play for more than 5 minutes, they are tight when you adapt.
Nice eclectic mix of colours and sound. 4.5/5
Love the game it's awesome, but am I the only one whose screen cuts out parts of the inventory/ what level you are on? Still 5/5 but just wondering if it is just my setup that is causing this.
I've found there are different 'effective' plays for differing difficulties. Depending on difficulty some plays are almost 100% for a first down. Example for All-Star being TE Under Slants. Managed 600 yds passing in a game using that and only that.
From memory Lopdo just recently said he's working on the Zoom in/out feature, but hes got his hands full with determining an automatic Custom Map chooser thingy, and just the game in general.
Still zooms coming soon :D
@pundu, aim for the middle circular thing between the two balls, you latch onto it. Then just aim forward as fast as you can, worked for me first time and got a perfect :D
That's actually a terrible mistake u_u' I just fixed it.
