I really liked this game, but I would have liked the ability to redo the deck without having to lose a fight first. Also, the ability to remove cards from the deck would be nice. I know that allowing too many cards to be removed would result in people picking, like, 4 really good cards and using only those, but more ability to manipulate the deck would be nice. Maybe giving the player more cards and having a minimum card limit, then letting the player choose which of the cards to use.
Also, there are times where the player earns new cards, but it seems like there are more types of cards than a typical player will encounter during the game. Like, playing through one time there were certain cards available to choose from that weren't there the next play through.
