Ok, I personally haven't seen thegames8 put one out like this, so i'm not going to call them on re-skinning a previous game of theirs.
That being said, this is still horribly unbalanced and uninspiring, much like the rest of the crap they put out, and certainly not worth the 4 star rating it mysteriously has received shortly after being posted. 1/5 and someone should really take a look at what seems like thegames8 artificially inflating their game ratings.
A number of weapons have minimum ranges, and I noticed that when given an attack order they would swing off to stay in optimal range, or so it seemed, that may be what is frustrating some people. Try sending the ship(s) to a specific place in space and let them auto-target enemies if you can't afford to have them swinging around, such as with your "tank" ships.
As ChriXXX said, it's just ULTRA crap. And he can "whine" if he damn well feels like it, you're welcome to STFU and make your own gaming site if that's a problem.
So only 2 levels and going outside the screen was intentional for people who can't do it? 1/5 for pandering to people who can't do it. And because this game sucks too.
I bet 10,000, got a full house, and the game bogged down so badly trying to pay me out that it was about 1-2 seconds between chips with 20,000$ (200 chips) left to go, so I gave up and closed it. Other than that it's a decent poker game.
The awesome rating I gave this game was so big it flipped to negative and finally settled at 1/5. I love CYOTD3 so much! I want it made into liquid form so I can inject it directly into my body!
Nothing I can see that makes it much (if any) different from the defaults. Did you even play test this? you've got a spiral path that would generally promote some thought in tower placement if it weren't for the fact that the towers themselves are too large to fit into it. CYOTD is incredibly lame as it is, at least put some effort into it. Pathetic.
Great game, I only saw 2 signifigant issues. 1) It's too easy. There's little challenge at the moment. 2) Ships need balancing. The cost vs effectivenss makes the bigger ships undesirable, spending those points on weaker ships is just more effective overall.
Hmmm, needs alot of improvement, but good potential. Issues: Can't sell or destroy towers, can't cancel placement, missiles move way too slow, firing sounds get overwhelming as you get more turrets, no pause feature, needs some different purpose for at least some of the towers, needs upgrades for towers and towers either don't get the range listed or the range bubble thingy around some towers isn't accurate. I'm looking forward to your future efforts, keep at it.
