May 25, 2018 10:50am Hear that line so often: " … “My mind has been blown” – or such “mind-blowing” and “blowing mind like -oh never mind” … look: Quotes like these, only valued for a line, but no such Bullet Point so – seriously, this line makes the game sounds repetitive and cliche and boring – you could’ve reduced it the line and …

Didn’t really expect much if any feedback from the Topics, much less open this up to see 2 persons on my Feed. I really appreciate it. Because, there’s so much I’ve just typed on my own Feed for so long [sometimes excessively written reviews of some games I’ve played which I intended to write on the site later, trimmed – or just things I wonder, or anything – at least to get it down. Took a lot to just go to Forum Threads and start putting ideas or questions “out there” as opposed to writing material just so I have it in a Bubble. Didn’t and don’t expect much Feedback from Topics. Not because I think they’re bad, or have ill-confidence – just doesn’t happen – and perhaps just the jump to putting material “out there” was enough for me in and of itself. This doesn’t mean that I didn’t and don’t want to hear replies or thoughts on them – but the Topics have different motivations behind them, and there are a few where I REALLY want to hear a number of viewpoints on, because it’s related to issues that are more important to me than others – and they extend beyond this site into other areas, so in these cases, they have examples all over the world. But – given no responses or any, it isn’t going to make me feel bad … show less

Meaning: I just don’t write up essays with detailed input and advice unless I believe that what I have to say can be of service to problem …But I digress. Again, thank you. It was and is awesome to see 2 encouraging comments on my Feedback upon entering the site. I didn’t expect many, if all all, responses to any of my Forum Topics. But I didn’t even think to see comments on my Feed – wasn’t even on my mind as a possibility – which makes it all the more rewarding. Once again, Thank You. This unexpected encouragement is a real boost – because writing up all those Forum Topics and going “outside” my own Activity Bubble is a jump – so such words I definitely do appreciate. show less

There’s 2 messages posts, yours and 1 other, and that are basically – positive and encouraging. I’ve written much on my own feed with intentions to write something on Gaming Sites later – that, or, really just anything to get something down – but going to the Forum Threads with Topics written for different reasons, some more pressing to me [in terms of really wanting to hear an answer or two], while some aren’t so – but that’s good, because, the variety of all matters to me as well. I never expect feedback, nor did – and even if no one replied to anything, much less on Feed – it was just a matter of putting something “out there” rather than keeping everything bottled up in here. Which is why I’ve withheld some of my Feedbacks – particularly the Constuctive Ones, where clearly, I think the comments could help [but wouldn’t hurt]. A of other things on here are a bit unpolished or off-tangent – perhaps a Game that just took way too long, or I finished it over time, and forgot this or that – something I wouldn’t post anyway. Not interested anymore. A tid-bit of useful information is great to post on one’s own Feed for future use or notice – but the Forum Threads just sound the most appropriate avenue to go to here. This site really offers a LOT MORE than I expected – and this is clearly evinced when other Gaming Sites are visited, where even constructing a simple profile is virtually non-existent, much less having a whole Activity Feed of your own to post ideas and anything to do for whenever. All of the Forums too – and the fact that they offer sections for things unrelated to this Site, or even to Gaming to General. That’s just f-in Awesome – bc if anything, the connectedness via these avenues with such flexibility is a feature that seems severely underrated when looking at other sites – especially when one cannot construct even a decent personal profile. That’s just Basic for me. Someone wants to “Stand out” – here’s my Avatar, here I am – it’s not bad, it’s just being able to be an individual on the site … show less

This lack of community and sense of “life” – as in, the interaction aspect is “alive and growing” – not quite an intimate, face-to-face conversation – but with knowing how many members there are in a Gaming Community’s Site, and not even knowing how to even write a simple Hello or send a Friend Request – or worse, it’s not even offered. That’s it: Right There. Was on another site. Games were fine. No problem there. The Site had a problem with keeping membership up – and it was just plain as day to me: There’s a community, but without the ability to interact in even a simple way, it doesn’t even feel “real”. No Avatar or profile to be the individual you are on here – no threads or anything. It’s as though this Feature was just kind of pushed aside, as though it was some possible, but highly unlikely cause for membership problems. Really? – Don’t want to go on about that. Don’t have to. Really glad I wrote a straightforward essay, directly to whoever I could who worked and/or was in charge or whatever on the site, just to flat-out express what I believed – and would bet on, with total confidence – was the Core Cause of this problem. Maybe they read it. Maybe not. That’s not my concern. For me, I felt as though I did a service – meaning: I offered constructive feedback and advice based upon personal and overall experience [in life and otherwise], and from a Business Perspective – whatever idea they were throwing around, which seriously could’ve dealt with getting other members to sign up and offering some virtual or whatever reward – DOOMED … show less

And in today’s world? – like new members aren’t going to feel “negative” about signing up when they realize, that, clearly on a damned Board, the idea of offering other rewards for getting “them there”? – Sometimes, the levels of just plain insensibility are beyond me. Purely Business, no morality or whatever else involved, more often than not, the Best Way to achieve Success somewhere is via “Moral” means – in flows, in sync – because it’s in the light, exposed -and if not, in today’s age, you can’t just hide away in the dark. [Especially if you just leave the damned idea on your Board at the Top for every new member to Read – sorry – but, there’s just a lack of thinking here – asking for failure? – you don’t need to ask. But, with all of these Sites online and all of the overload, the stupid facts and truth just get lost or forgotten – nice to have some Business where Risk doesn’t feel so Raw and Real as it does in other industries – where Failure happens all the time …[The Quintessential No-Risk Business?: The Gaming Industry. Not doing that here.] Hopefully, I gain some good online Friends on here who share similar interests, play the same games, just so happen to live across the damned street – seriously – stuff like that happens. I’ve seen a lot of events or “things” [however trivial another person might view it all as] transpire where coincidence is just too improbable – where calling it would feel like saying “designed coincidence” – as if a Program’s Logic stipulated conditions that emulated “coincidence” – but clearly, it’s all designed … Not that it’s about “Design” – it’s just to bring up some mutually exclusive terminology here – just that one time you step outside and manage to catch a particular insect fly by that you wanted to see for quite some time – awesome. Comforting. No more here. SHOUT! show less

It shows. I couldn’t even complete this game, due to the awkward, frustrating, 30+ Attempts at trying to jump off wall over 2 spaces and up [after getting 2 “white things”, and have double-jump, there’s a high wall, and trying to get up & around 2 spaces worth was practically impossible for me. I play a lot of Puzzle & Puzzle/Platformer Games [and the latter I’ve been playing on & off since childhood, “hello Super M Bros!”]. I’ve conquered some pretty tough games, but the “toughness” isn’t because of poor controls, or poor design choices. Rough & Tough, but you learn through falling & dying, only to improve one’s skill level. Trying to hit L + Jump, then hold up/right – only to somehow fly off in the opposite direction, into whatever “white acid” kills you. The Puzzle aspect, as well, is limited to block-pushing – and there’s nothing mind-bending respecting the solutions. Essentially, my progress was halted because of terribly frustrating platforming – and this game needs a definite makeover. “2.2 Stars”. Final. show less

Much of it was much like clouds – nothing hard, set, systematic, at this point [and perhaps it might never be]. Essentially, I was elucidating the fundamental component of my Ratings of Puzzle Games: And [again] for lack of better words, “does the game make you smarter?” – in other words, in order for me to find a Puzzle Game worthwhile, it must give the Brain A Decent Workout – so much so that it helps bend, shift, and shape the Brain in all the right directions, helping one increase cognitive skills [e.g. Memory, Spatial Understanding, Arithmetic, Pattern Recognition, etc.] … If the game is lacking in any significant challenge [which, yes, some might not be looking for a game that requires too much critical thinking – they just want to relax with a casual, cozy game – and that’s quite all right] – then it will have a negative impact on my overall Rating [excepting games that are tailor-made for a younger crowd, in which case, I expect an easier go at thing]. Essentially: There are a number of factors that go into my Ratings [or so I imagine, but I can probably narrow it down to 4 or 5 things], but if the Game doesn’t leave me with that Rewarding Brain Boost “I did it!” Feeling – then, no. Get enough of that on our current Generation Consoles. Visually Rich & Musical – but that doesn’t compensate for a poor Puzzle Game. END FOR NOW [AGAIN]. show less
