Millions of people around the globe are well-acquainted with Kongregate and the antics of the forums and games on their site. By the same token, there is an absence of public discourse about the whitewashing of violent American cultural activities throughout Kongregate's monopoly and reclaiming of the declining Flash ideologue. Kongregate and their games play a role in normalizing the corporate and mainstream takings of intellectual property while erasing the role and credit of authors, designers, and people's games from their rightfully earned revenue. Kongregate’s presence on the internet continues the violent and racist expulsion of amateur and grassroots game designers of their livelihoods (and in this case their identity) that enables Kongregate and the U.S. hegemonic powers to extend their military and colonial interests in the postwar era.
