Just finished. To be honest, I felt like the story here was a real let down because it didn't explain ANYTHING. Every single question it brings up gets left in the air and unresolved, and the ending is extremely abrupt and unsatisfying... even a little depressing. The whole thing felt like it was made of random ideas that didn't really get the time they needed to develop and tie together into a cohesive narrative, and as a result you never really care about the cast or what's happening. I'd still like to see a sequel, if only so that you can expand on and develop the ideas and story you have here, because as it stands it feels a little rushed and unfinished.

Still feels a little buggy, and I keep feeling like I'm missing half the story, but overall mostly enjoyable. I did run into a bug in the fight with Malev in the observatory when a wraith moved to stand on top of him, and when his turn came around he walked right off the screen and his turn wouldn't end so I had to reload. The wraiths in that battle might also be mislabled; the game calls them "cruel wraiths", but they have the look and attack of poison wraiths. In addition, it seemed like that battle would also freeze up after turns now and then, and both characters and enemies would miss turns entirely as a result. I'm running Chrome on Windows 7.

Is there any way to play this fullscreen? Having to scroll around to accommodate for how big the game itself is versus the frame Kongregate displays it in is really killing it for me. I'm using Chrome, incidentally. Otherwise, it's a solid game built on a familiar engine. Nice coffee-break style gameplay with a great sense of humour.

If you need to have a weapon upgraded to a certain level before you can take on an enemy, you may want to make a note of that in the level itself. If we have to play your game a certain way to finish it, you need to be clearer about that. You can't just assume players are going to follow the path you want them to if you don't railroad them into it. Clever game, but the difficulty of certain encounters and the inability to play your own way hinders it.

Actually, I found I didn't have to scratch. It seems like as long as the cursor is moving with the enemy, they get damaged, so I just hovered the cursor over enemies and moved it along the path with them. Seemed to work better. That being said, the waves are FAR too long. The game gets dull very quickly. Shame, because it had some neat ideas.

I just want to clarify that I DO think it's a good game, but you really needed that disclaimer on the description for people knew that the second game, with the plot resolution, was going to cost them. I think you guys are very talented, and I hope you keep up the good work. Thanks for adding the bit about the price to the description, and I hope you aren't discouraged by all the negative comments. :)

I don't think the price would have bothered me if you had mentioned it in the description, so I knew what I was going into instead of feeling like it was sprung on me. It's not a big price tag, no, but some people might prefer not to get invested in a game they have to pay to see the rest of if they're unable to pay for it.
