I think to really appreciate it, you have to be a music nut (which I am not), but it's really not that difficult to adequately play if you study the map layout enough and don't try too hard to make a beautiful sounding song. At least, from what I've played. It's definitely the most unique take on the tower defense genre I've ever seen, so props for that.
This game reminds me why I personally dislike physics-based puzzlers; I'm a logic person, not a precision person. With this game, I'm doing what I think to be the exact same thing on the same level and getting a different outcome each time due to my impreciseness. Still, not a bad game if you're into that sort of thing. 4/5
Best way to speed up the game is to scroll down so only half the screen is visible. Runs a hell of a lot quicker. Love how addicting this game is. It would be cool if it made a line graph of your combo at every timeout and showed you how quickly you made it skyrocket.
A very good Kongregate platformer. It's rather lengthy, chock full of collectables and extras, and is just fun to play. Also, everything from level 4 concerning the chickens was inspired by Zelda and I LOVE YOU FOR IT!
I still enjoyed playing the game, but it's lacking so many things. The balance needs to be seriously overhauled. You can breeze through this game using only the x2 upgrades, if not any upgrades at all. Maybe some range limits on spells and archery? More health for the enemies? As a demo of a game, I see potential, but taken as a game in and of itself, it's very lackluster.
Greatly enjoyed this game, but geez, can you do something to visually indicate who I'm supposed to be sniping? I understand you're going for realism (something you definitely achieved), but I failed that mission several times because I couldn't always make out what the guy is saying and shooting the wrong target fails the mission.
As an avid Minecraft fan, I don't see any problem with this game existing. They aren't really making any money off of it. Besides, there's nothing saying it couldn't mature in the future and grow in a different direction. Until then, there's nothing wrong with Minecraft Classic on Kongregate.
That all being said, Minecraft totally kicks this game's ass!
Monsters should move around (or even toward you) in Dungeon Crawl mode. Otherwise, one can slay a monster, then wiggle around until they're back to max health, then repeat. If not make the monsters move, then perhaps add "Steps taken" to the point system at the end to discourage this cheap tactic.
It's one thing to say your game is fun and to tout its features. It's another thing to proclaim over and over that your game is the greatest thing to happen to web games. With a description like that, you're just BEGGING your players to be disappointed.
@ExSane By "paying for the full game", you mean the small handful of guns that you can purchase with diamonds? They just make an easy game even easier. You can beat the game with little effort using only the non-diamond guns and shields.
This is just a cheap flash version of one of the hundreds of lame Facebook app clones. You might as well just go there and play this exact type of game with your FB friends.
