5/5, reminds me of E.V.O. on the SNES. Ever play it? You should. I have a lot of questions. One is, did you study music at any point in time? Like, classes, or books or online? I loved the music in this. I've always wanted to make music with stuff like Famitracker but I always seem aimless, and quite frankly I don't know dick about music and I should.
The other question being, was this made in Stencyl? Someone recommended I mess around with that, and I suck at all things.
First time bothering to comment, I like this. Seems like if you wanted to polish it you could put some kind of collectibles in the stages or something, but it's not necessary. The end kind of hints at a sequel doesn't it? It specifically refers to "more adventures" even. That would explain your username being relevant to the game.
The barrel portion reminded me so much of Donkey Kong, thank you for that. Added this to favorites, I'd like to see what you do in the future.
I am indeed working on a sequel, it's going to be closer to what this game was originally going to be, a metroidvania style adventure where you can travel the floating islands and enter the dungeons in any order you wish.
