Movement keys that stick or make you stop completely and end up getting you killed, enemies that, no matter what, will instantly overpower you and out flank you, plethora of "invincible" zombies that just multiply, same old game play over and over again. Good concept, bad execution.
Well, first of all, you need to refresh your knowledge of Bleach. "Death Gods" aren't called Bleaches. They're called Shinigami/Death Gods.. Secondly, not everyone in their mother can become a Shinigami. Also, most people don't hate the Shinigami/think of them as a taboo to become. Sword Techniques are called Zanjutsu, not Hakudou; Hakudou is Physical/Hand-to-Hand combat. Getsuga shouldn't be there. So, I think before making a Bleach game you maybe should take a look again at the information.
Now, on the technical aspects of the game: If at all, the only things that should take MP are the Kidou and Shikai/Bankai. Having your physical attacks take MP basically renders Kidou useless unless you specialize in it. With money drops, there's NO way to pick it up. I've tried multiple ways. If there is a specific button for it, you ought to put it in the instructions. Also, lag is horrid. 2/5
Pseudolonewolf, despite any of the idiot's negative comments, I just want to say that this is one of the best flash RPGs that I've EVER played. You really capture the nostalgia of past, old-school RPGs. It's NOT a Final Fantasy ripoff, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise; you've created a phenomenal homage. The battles are interesting, the art is awesome...I've enjoyed playing and exploring the world you created from Chapter I. Not sure how much sense I'm making, but I just want to tell you how much I appreciate this creation.
In response to Odjn: Of course a generic game is going to beat this one out. People don't care about aesthetics in gaming anymore. As long as a game looks good, as violence, has action, or something to interest the mind of a "we want it now" generation, then it will win. Games that have value, or have a message, or have a patient, slowly developing tone are going to be shunned by a generation of people who think they know about games or art. This game, or more importantly suggestive art piece, actually has a decent message, and a concept that is hard to wrap your head around. It deals with the basis of human psychology, free will and obedience, and lets you choose your own path..but at the same time, allows you to see the influence that your actions create, something that we, as humans beings, aren't able to see until consequences occur. 5/5, and I'll be sad if a generic beats it.
I love this game. The only annoyance I found was the fact I couldn't figure out how to get back to town, and then I get ganged by like enemies that do 30+ damage to me and end up killing me, resetting me back like 3 levels because it goes game over. There should be an easier way to find town again, so you can save, etc.
Good game, but the lag when there are alot of enemies really makes it hard to slash, causing him to die from the annoying "LOL WE USE SWORDS AND SPEARS SO LETS DODGE"
