Really enjoyed the prologue, great work! My only real critique is that the debuffs and status effects (blind, poison, and lower atk/def) didn't seem very useful. It seemed like it was always better to kill the enemies faster with damage moves than to debuff them with special moves. Maybe it was just me, but I tried using them for a while and objectively did worse in the same fights. Making these moves more viable would add more strategy and interest to the game. Just my opinion :) Great job so far
This game has lost so much of the general vibe of the original games in the series. If it wasn't labeled an Epic War I honestly wouldn't even have realized it was part of the same series. These games have been straying further and further from the main tasty jelly filled center that we found when playing the original games. don't get me wrong, I totally support innovation of games in a series, but this is just selling a name, without the old game we loved to support it.
