Good game but the execution is a bit flawed, metal in the ground should last a bit longer, rotating buildings would be a big plus, or being able to schedule building in stages then execute the stages as resources are generated.
As for the story, collecting "science"? Hmm, how bout there is a nano-plague eating Si based electronics so everything is GaAs based. Add a macguffin of naturally occurring high purity GaAs crystals and you have your collectible "Science".
It's not a bad game so much as it is penny slots with no possibility of a payout. No goals, no suicide option to jump back to the upgrade menu, all the grinding, none of the achievement based hooks.
So, stay alive till you finish upgrading, then slaughter the opponent? Cool concept, it deserves more than fake difficulty. Perhaps using relative weapon strengths/weaknesses between deploy-able units? Oh, and please add Hot-keys. 4.5/5
Did any of the Kongregate staff actually play this game through level 24 before deciding to give it a badge? I don't know if the implementation changed with the latest releases of flash, but it's nearly impossible to get bombs/rocks to the other side of the screen.
I assume this is just unplayable on my computer given its 4+ rating. If I'm lucky and tap the key before the bubble and circle align it hits, missing button presses makes this game unplayable.
