@megalight, honestly I thought that mission was tedious as well. Got their base down to less than 75% by snipers alone before i managed to finally freeze 8 people. RNG was not being helpful.
I rather dislike the fact that the game says my hearts get restored in between halves, but then they don't and I'm over there with one heart. Besides that little glitch, this game is great.
For those having black screens, this game is based in Unity, which Chrome hates for some reason. If you are using Chrome, I can conclude with 95% certainty that Chrome's disagreement with Unity is the reason for your troubles. That is why I use Chrome for everything but Flash gaming: I use Firefox for that.
Ok, so I have the glide, and I flipped the mystery switch in the mountain, now where do I go? I have revisited every place, and I can't quite figure out where I am supposed to be. I get the feeling the answer is obvious once you've found it... but I can't! And I want to so badly...
"Yeah! Beat the game! Put the little guy in this little claw so he can go on to the next person to have fun with... Why do I hear slamming? No. Oh god no. GodDAMMIT."
"Not the right place to put a map." Can't I... I dunno... just hold it in my hands to read it like a normal person? I mean, sure, Terry isn't normal by any stretch of the imagination, as Heimlich frequently states, but like, doesn't that seem kinda obvious?
I connected with every character freaking instantly, except Mare, because he/she hasn't actually said anything yet... The Captain is a wise but friendly old woman whose intuitive predictions are almost always spot on. Deuce is a protective warrior who would sacrifice himself for the good of the whole. Deadeye is (so far) a mechanical genius whose brain has not much room for social skills because of all the weapon systems swirling around in her mind. Johnny is the opposite, knowing people extremely well, but I haven't spoken to him enough to really know him.
And Ginny? One of my two favorite characters from Firefly, obviously! Freaking LOVE that mechanic! So happy, even if she does have some guilt from her past surface life. Who have I missed... Oh, Swig. Besides the ship's drunk and one of the biggest sources of moral support for Deuce, I haven't really gotten much of his character. Oh, he is fairly wise at times and can understand people and their intentions pretty well though. And that is all I have gained just from playing through the tutorial and Skies of Syd! I haven't even played any of the other levels yet.
Indy approved.
