Nice game. Clearly many hours have gone into making it. I like the simplicity of it. Just select a hero and off you go. Life is too short for long intros and lengthy learning curves.
I was the one suggesting the addition of bombs. Sorry for not having checked out the result earlier than this. It turned out pretty nicely, although the game is still very easy. If some (different looking) bombs only took away the color and not the entire tile, then you might make some even more challenging levels.
If some of the tiles had a bomb on them that will erase any color that is folded onto them, then it would be possible to make slightly more difficult puzzles. You could also make a special color that won't block other colors from folding on to it, but will not change when they do.
This could be a great prototype for a fully developed game with nice graphics and sounds and everything. If it is fun to play (which it is) while it is still just grey menus and buttons, then it is sure to be great. Time to nvite some more developers to make graphics and sounds and animations and all the other stuff you need to do.
As long as offline progress is off my rating stays at one star. Get it working again, and my rating goes up, maybe not as high as before, but surely more than one star. If everybody did that, the developers might notice.
Logged off yesterday with several nonolion credits and happily investing. Logged in today and find that the game has been reset to zero. Zero angels, zero everything. Music re-enabled. As if i never played the game before. How do I get my credits back?
If someone asked me about how to get started on game programming, I would recommend that they started with a small and simple game, and something like this would be perfect for a "my first game" type of project. Thumbs up for getting it released, and for not being shy about getting it out with bugs and usability flaws and all. I think it would be best for your own satisfaction to go through the game and fix all the problems, even if you are mentally already started on the next project. You can't overestimate the importance of the feeling that you have actually finished a project. And thumbs up for having a fun and original idea.
Lvl 57 health. Everything else is maxed out and there is a LOOOOONG way to go. I don't see the end of this game within the time I want to spend on it, especially given the monotony of it. I really wanted to say that I loved this game, but the end game is just too seriously broken to warrant more than an average grade.
Love the bomb idea, I'm going to try that next :)
